The Strong-Tie BC series offers dual purpose post cap/base for light cap or base connections. The BCS2-2/4SS post cap is approved to be installed with the specified nails or Strong-Drive SD connector screws. The Strong-Tie BCS2-2/4SS post base's are made of 316L stainless steel to provide maximum corrosion resistance in the harshest of climates. Stainless steel fasteners are required to install this hanger.

Installation:
- Use all specified fasteners.
- Do not install bolts into pilot holes
- BC: install with 16d commons or 16dx2 1/2" joist hanger nails.
- Post bases do not provide adequate resistance to prevent members from rotating about the base and therefore are not recommended for non top-supported installations (such as fences or unbraced carports).
- To tie multiple 2x members together, the Designer must determine the fasteners required to join members to act as one unit without splitting the wood.

Standard Shipping is free on orders over $25 within the contiguous US. If the order is under $25.00, the shipping is $8.99 set fee for shipping within the contiguous US.
Most of our products will ship within 1 to 3 Business Days. Some Special order products will ship within 2 to 5 Business Days. Preorders will be shipped to you on a first come first serve basis as soon as available from the manufacturer. Items that are "Made-to-Order" (Custom order products) will be shipped when fabrication is completed, shipping and delivery times will vary and depend on manufacturing.

Freight shipping Policy:
Orders/Items too large or heavy may require special handling/Shipping and may require to be sent by truck. Someone must be present to accept truck deliveries. Standard truck delivery is to a dock facility designed to receive freight. You will be notified within 24 hours of ordering to confirm delivery. Lift gates for deliveries are available for an additional fee.
