The Simpson Strong-Tie cast-in-place CBPC column base helps prevent wood members from rotating. The bottom of its base plate is designed to be flush with the concrete. The CB44PC column base features a flat black powder-coated finish which produces a much more durable and better looking finish than standard paint.

Installation:
- Use all specified fasteners.
- Allowable loads have been increased 60% for wind or earthquake loading. No further increase allowed; reduce where other loads govern.
- Minimum side cover for full loads is 3" for CBs
- Install all models with bottom of base plate flush with concrete.
- Post bases do not provide adequate resistance to prevent members from rotating about the base and therefore are not recommended for non top-supported installations (such as fences or unbraced carports).

Standard Shipping is free on orders over $25 within the contiguous US. If the order is under $25.00, the shipping is $8.99 set fee for shipping within the contiguous US.

Freight shipping Policy:
Orders/Items too large or heavy may require special handling/Shipping and may require to be sent by truck. Someone must be present to accept truck deliveries. Standard truck delivery is to a dock facility designed to receive freight. You will be notified within 24 hours of ordering to confirm delivery. Lift gates for deliveries are available for an additional fee.
